Although I hadn't seen or spoken to Tim in around 30 years we had had some facebook chats in the last couple of years. I was so sad to hear of his illness and then gutted at the weekend to hear of his death. Tim was a great friend to me through our teenage years at South Wolds. We were both peculiar in our own particular ways/ I remember a lot of laughter at Tim goofing around at school or in our little group, but I also have many memories of evenings of quiet talk, shared experiences, the trials and tribulations of teenage angst. And of course, good old chat about music, movies, Rocky Horror. We went our own ways after school and I am sad that we never got round to getting back in touch properly - you always think you have more time than you do - but seeing his facebook photos of his beautiful family and his travels always made me smile at his full and happy life. I have some fun photos from back then, and an old battered school pencil tin that he scribbled graffiti all over which I see every day because I keep some jewelry in it.
