I remember sometime in September 2008 when we our holiday in Manila, he told us that he never had experience lighting a firecracker by himself. Since we were already in the firecraker capital of the Philippines, we bought some "lusis & kwitis". He was so excited to witness lighting those in front of him.

In December 2010, Tim celebrated his first new year's eve in the Philippines; you can see from Tim's eyes that he was looking forward to lighting at least one of the firecrackets by himself, because this is the best time to do what he wanted to experience. At last he was able not just light a torch (huge lusis) but he lighted the firecrackers.
